Having the urge to change that default search provider in Safari? Bored of the only two options available? (yahoo, google). If you think that you can do it in a jiffy, then you are in for a surprise.
The main reason is, Apple has hard coded the search provider (google US) into the Safari application itself. There are various guides on the internet to change the default search provider, but they are complex and if you make any mistake in editing it, it will render Safari completely useless.
Why don't you try this excellent Safari plug-in AcidSearch. This plug-in not only lets you change the default search provider in Safari, it also lets setup multiple search providers which you can search on via a handy drop-down menu.
Good Luck!
