My First Chaos Emerald - Green

It has been my dream as a child influenced by the game "Sonic The Hedgehog" series, to hold a chaos emeralds in my hand. In my perception, the chaos emerald is a marvelous gem to be looked at. At first it was hard to guess its size and weight as in the first game I do not remember sonic holding it in his hand. In the first game "Sonic The Hedgehog (1991)" there was only six emerald. Later, the number was bumped to 7. To transform to Super Sonic, one would need the power of the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Though, shadow only needed one, albeit a fake one to teleport. Well... dreams do come true, as you will soon see by reading this article.

I first read about the hoax from a fellow deviant at DeviantART .The hoax that one could actually own a Chaos Emeralds in this real world that we are living in. After reading about his post, it seems that the chaos emerald is indeed real and anyone can obtain it, for a small fee that is.... Laughing

No wonder after all this while, my search of the Chaos Emerald had been for naught as no one was really selling "chaos emerald". In this world, they are called "glass diamond paperweights" Tongue out. So begins my quest in obtaining all seven. No matter what the cost is. Money mouth

 After searching in eBay, I finally found one Chaos Emerald (Green) . Without thinking any further, I have decided to make it my first Chaos Emerald. This post and the next posts with the tag "Chaos Emerald" will be my adventure in obtaining all seven. After completing my order, I payed for the item using paypal. The seller name was edenteas

The shipping for the Emerald took a long time to arive. It took 42 days to arive at my home. Well, as long as the item arrived safely intact and not a scratch on it, then thats fine by me. The package was received by my wife yesterday as I was at the office working. I came home, and there it was, the package that supposedly contains the Chaos Emerald inside....

 


Alas, after waiting for almost One and a Half month, the package arrived. In good condition


Opened the package.. It is filled with stuffings that absorb shocks should the package experience any

Inside the package, there is a box and a receipt for the item.
There is also a coupon inside from edenteas where I would get a $2 discount for my next purchase

Inside the box, there it is, the Green Chaos Emerald!


Thanks to edenteas, I have now in my hand the Green Chaos Emerald.

Yep, its true, the "glass diamond paperweights" really does look like a Chaos Emerald. Now that the Green Chaos Emerald is in my hand, next its off to collecting the yellow, purple, red, white, cyan and orange Chaos Emerald.

I too love Sonic the hedgehog, (to be honest, I just got interested with Sonic games last year, because I kinda grew up with Mario), and that so-called paperweight really does look like the green chaos emerald.

After reading this, I'm going to search for these "emeralds" too!
Mind adding me in PSN network? The name's Maxximiles.

By the way..I noticed that you've posted this last year, so I wonder if you have more than 1 emeralds now?

Good luck in finding them, I hope you will succeed in getting all seven. My quest to find the chaos emerald has been set still recently, might be because I’ve just been busy… By the way, if you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? I’m 27 and I think I’m too old for sonic, but my heart tells otherwise… smilies/cheesy.gif
I’ll try to add you on the psn. You could add me too if you want, my psn id is neobita. All I got now is the green chaos emerald. I choose green first as Shadow The Hedgehog only use this green one albeit a fake one to teleport right? And the master emerald is green. Now if only I could find a stand for the chaos emerald just like in the hidden sanctuary in the chaos emerald chamber guarded by Knuckles, It would be cool to have all seven and then a big green chaos emerald as the master emerald.

Alas, its nice to find someone with the same interest as I do… nice to meet you…
